Validation and testing of new software version provided or loaded by myself in different types of satellite box produced by some manufacturers related to SKY Italia. The tests concerned the way the sw was installed, directly flashing the box or sending the manual or automated signal of upgrading on satellite transponders. To make this, I used respectively manufacturers tools and a Windows PC client and a remote server controlled by a console (PuTTY). I worked in collaboration with other labs involved in the check of hardware issues and another in the test of sw version reliability by the end-user side.

Prisma Engineering,
My task involved a Windows PC client simulating the link between one or more Wi-Max base/subscriber stations with some others, and a remote Linux PC server simulating the network and signalization packets (e.g. CIDs, packets). The process was controlled by TCL server-side and with some MS Visual C 6.0 programs client-side. The scripts and in a minor part the C code was modified by me when bugs were found, together with the developers.
